Being a part of New Voices has been a great experience for me. It gives me a sense of behind the sense kind of work. I absolutely love it! Putting a video together takes a lot of work. New Voices for Youth is a great program to practice and learn leadership skills. This program helped me by thinking outside the box. It has made me realized that the choices you make have consequences. Making the videos and editing is what really helped the most. Editing is like putting peices together, like a puzzle. When I was younger, I didn't have complete confidence in my ability to be a leader. I struggled with an identity crisis because I allowed my peers to dictate what I should do and how I should act. I've always felt uncomfortable about sharing my opinion with others because I was consumed by my fear of critisism and attention from others.
